National CORE’s first Section 8 property in California, Sunset Heights represented a major effort to revitalize a community. Previously a haven for drug and crime problems, Sunset Heights now offers families high quality affordable housing paired with a best practice afterschool program located at the onsite community center constructed by National CORE.

Social Services
After School and Beyond, HOPE’s signature afterschool program, helps children in grades K-8 to complete their homework, improve reading skills, build self- confidence, and develop social skills.
