Updates and Resources for Our Residents, Employees, and Partners

There is no higher priority to our National CORE and Hope through Housing Family than the safety and well-being of our residents and employees. The crisis created by the spread of the Coronavirus has impacted all of us, but National CORE and Hope through Housing will continue to do what we do best – build and manage high-quality affordable housing and be a source of hope for our residents.

As our world continues to change, National CORE and Hope through Housing have made adjustments to our daily operations to provide the best service possible while remaining in compliance with all federal, state, and local mandates

As an “Essential Business”, National CORE and Hope through Housing will remain open for business with the following adjustments to our day-to-day operations:

  • All National CORE and Hope through Housing offices will be closed to the public, including our 85+ leasing offices.
  • Most National CORE and Hope through Housing staff will be working from home.
  • All resident and prospect communications will be done by phone or email.
  • All indoor common areas, excluding laundry facilities and computer rooms, will remain closed until further notice.
  • All laundry facilities and computer rooms will be disinfected at a minimum of three times each day.
  • All community events and gatherings have been cancelled at this time.
  • Hope through Housing will continue food distribution programs and select youth programs on a property by property basis.
  • Hope through Housing will be conducting wellness checks via phone at all National CORE Senior Communities.
  • Hope through Housing Services Coordinators will continue to be available to assist with resident questions and resource coordination on a limited basis through remote contact. For a list of Service Coordinators and contact information, visit
