Jeré J. Thrasher Named COO of Hope through Housing Foundation

Appointment to Improve Foundation’s Efficiency, Effectiveness, and Sustainability

Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. – Jeré J. Thrasher has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of the Hope through Housing Foundation, Ciriaco “Cid” Pinedo, President of Hope through Housing, announced today.
Thrasher, also serving as Senior Vice President for National CORE (National CORE), will oversee day-to-day HTHF operations, as well as marketing and communications. Skilled in strategic development, Jeré’s passion for leading effective organizational change increases the capacity for HTHF to provide critical social services to residents and their communities. Prior to joining National CORE in 2014, Jeré served in national marketing and senior leadership roles with a couple of Fortune 500 companies, most recently as Vice President of Corporate Development.
“Jeré brings a wealth of experience and amazing energy to this new role. As we look to improve our efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability, we are extremely fortunate to have her on board,” Pinedo said.
During the past two decades, Hope through Housing has provided more than 2 million hours of human services for National CORE residents and surrounding neighborhoods, including preschool and afterschool programs, senior wellness services and special needs assistance. More recently, the organization has launched an economic mobility initiative that provides families with training in financial literacy, employability skills and how to move toward home ownership.
