Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. – The City of Rancho Cucamonga and National Community Renaissance (National CORE) are proud to announce that the wait list for the long-awaited affordable housing community of Day Creek Senior Villas will be open until Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.
This beautiful community along the Pacific Electric Trail features 131 one-bedroom and 8 two-bedroom apartment homes for seniors, ages 62 and better, making between 30 and 60 percent of the area median income, with one additional unit set-aside for the onsite manager. The community’s location is ideal for seniors, within walking distance of the Day Creek Marketplace and the Estate Winery Marketplace providing residents access to grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, and other local businesses.
Amenities include a swimming pool, outdoor lounges and fireplaces, and a community center to serve as a hub for resident activities. National CORE’s resident services provider, the Hope through Housing Foundation, will support senior residents with a variety of onsite programs and services that focus on basic needs, physical and mental health, and social connectedness.
Day Creek Senior Villas is National CORE’s ninth affordable housing community in the City and represents the 27-year public/private partnership that has resulted in more than 1,600 high-quality apartment homes for individuals, families, and seniors.
