National CORE is thrilled to welcome Pro Football Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson to the Dallas-Fort Worth area on April 5 for a landmark first – the grand opening of the first-ever Eric Dickerson Learning Center, a unique enrichment space where dreams will take root, and futures will be forever changed.

Nestled inside The Residences at Diamond Hill, the Eric Dickerson Learning Center is a sanctuary of opportunity — filled with books, games, technology, mentorship and love. Unlike anything ever created at an affordable housing community, this is a space where young minds will be guided, nurtured and build the confidence they need to achieve their dreams.

National CORE and Hope through Housing, our resident services partner, collaborated with Dickerson to launch the center to spark brighter academic futures for children and teens through a transformative mix of project-based learning and engaging activities in the arts, STEM and literacy enrichment.

Dickerson’s ED29 Foundation and Hope through Housing are supporting the center, which will feature a space called Keri’s Corner, a cozy supportive reading area inspired by Eric’s daughter’s love of reading and her triumph over learning setbacks.
