For 11 years, Becky Bolton has approached each day at HavenCORE with a simple goal: Make the lives of her residents and team members better by creating a supportive, safe and welcoming environment.

That philosophy earned Becky recognition as 2026 Regional Manager of the Year from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) during the organization’s Oct. 2 Management Excellence Awards gala.

“It is so rewarding to know the work that I do has paid off,” Becky said. “I lead the best way that I can and it’s an awesome feeling to know that the region I manage is a success.”

Becky, whose region includes Fontana, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga and Pomona, started as a temporary employee before becoming a leasing agent at Sunset Heights. Over the years, she was promoted through the ranks. In 2023, she became a Regional Manager overseeing 10 communities and more than 1,100 + households.

According to Marisela Gerez, Regional Director of property management at HavenCORE, said Becky exemplifies the best and brightest of her team – that her kindness and determination were key factors in earning this award.

“What truly distinguishes Becky, however, is the way she leads,” Marisela said. “She approaches residents with compassion and patience, employees with encouragement and accountability, and challenges with determination and a solutions-focused mindset.”

Becky attributed her success to HavenCORE’s excellent management and a deep camaraderie with her teammates.

“I couldn’t have earned this award without my team or the support of people like Marisela Gerez and Alma Minser,” Becky said. “We have outstanding management at HavenCORE and they make sure we have the tools and training to be successful. They really bring out the best of our abilities.”
