Hawthorne Heights will be a beautiful new affordable housing community offering 86 homes for seniors ages 62 or better who earn between 22% and 60% of the area median income (AMI). The five-story building will be constructed on a 2.9-acre site with five apartments reserved for individuals with special needs.  

The community will be located less than three miles from the heart of Gainesville, where residents can enjoy a host of services, restaurants, pharmacies, libraries and hospitals.  

Hawthorne Heights will feature high-quality amenities, including a community room, covered terrace, clubhouse, fitness center, business center, two elevators, in-unit washer/dryer connections, luxury vinyl tile flooring and stainless-steel appliances. 

The property will be managed by The CT Group, which has more than 30 years of experience in affordable and low-income housing management.
