Prisma Loft Apartments will provide 75 new apartment homes to families and young professionals who wish to live in the heart of the historic City of Pomona and within walking distance of the city’s bustling downtown arts scene. This new community will be available to residents earning below 60% of the area median income.
Located at the corner of Mission Boulevard and Palomares Street, the community will offer 12 one-bedroom, 27 two-bedroom and 21 three-bedroom apartment homes in addition to 15 live/work lofts. Of the 75 apartments, 11 will serve residents with developmental disabilities. The Hope through Housing Foundation will provide enrichment services for all residents and coordinate with the San Gabriel/Pomona Regional Center to deliver specialized services for developmentally disabled residents.
Prisma Loft Apartments will promote walkability, being located less than .75 miles away from the Pomona Transit Center. It will be a hub for multiple Foothill Transit, Omnitrans and Metrolink lines.
Passers-by can also admire the community’s 800-square-foot gallery space, which will be available for showcasing community artwork. Residents will also have access to lounges on each floor, a courtyard and private balconies.

The application and eligibility process will commence approximately four months prior to the completion of construction. Applications will not be taken and no names or other information will be collected for any waitlist or qualification process until the leasing process is commenced.

San Gabriel/Pomona Regional Center
San Gabriel/Pomona Regional Center is part of a network of 21 regional centers across California, dedicated to serving 30 cities within the El Monte, Foothill, and Pomona areas within the Los Angeles County. As a private, nonprofit organization, we operate in collaboration with the State of California, Department of Developmental Services, with a mission to deliver essential services and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Additionally, we are proud to extend our services to infants and toddlers through our Early Start program. Our center began serving the region in 1986, and we continue to be committed to our community’s well-being.
