Corona del Rey is a beautiful housing community in the heart of the City of Corona. The community offers 160 high-quality two-bedroom apartments to individuals and families who earn below 80% of the area median income (AMI).

Corona del Rey was built in the 1970s and purchased by National CORE in 2010. The community underwent sweeping renovations to all apartments, which was completed in 2025. These updates include water supply line replacements, conversion from gas to all-electric utilities, stucco repair, repainting and kitchen and bathroom upgrades. Two of the community’s 40 buildings were also chosen as “Demonstration Buildings,” receiving updated exterior insulation and updated mechanical and electrical systems to boost energy efficiency.

This family-friendly community offers an array of amenities, including a community center, laundry facility, covered parking stalls, 24-hour emergency maintenance and a children’s play area.
