Downey View is a six-story, state-of-the-art apartment community, providing 50 two- and three-bedroom beautiful apartment homes. Opened in December 2014, Downey View was the realization of the City of Downey’s vision as stated in its 2010 Downtown Specific Plan: to create a lively urban community offering housing at all levels of affordability, office space, retail establishments, and restaurants. Downey View replaced an outdated telephone service building with innovative, podium-style infill housing offering a community room, a rooftop garden, and a private patio for each unit.
