Santa Fe Senior Village will be a vibrant supportive housing community in downtown Vista, California for seniors who are unhoused or at-risk of becoming unhoused. Developed by National CORE and the San Diego Community Housing Corporation, Santa Fe Senior Village will provide 54 fully-furnished studio and one-bedroom apartment home for senior residents, ages 62 or better. Two of these homes will be set aside for unhoused senior veterans through the Veterans Affairs supportive housing program. The new community will be close to the Vista Transit Center Station, connecting residents to mobility options throughout the Northern San Diego region. The community also will place residents within walking distance of a grocery store, public park, medical clinic, public library and restaurants. Onsite amenities include a spacious community center, private case management offices, a community garden and laundry facilities.

Information about the Services Provider
The Hope through Housing Foundation’s goal is to see residents thrive – whether that means helping children do well in school, improving families’ financial situations, providing supportive services to individuals with special needs or making it possible for seniors to age with dignity in their own homes. At Santa Fe Senior Village, Hope through Housing will provide senior residents with onsite services and programs that will connect them to their community, meet their basic needs and maintain their physical and mental health. In addition, partnerships with County of San Diego Behavioral Health Services, San Diego PACE and the Veterans Administration will equip residents with the tools and resource to achieve long-term housing stability. Residents will have access to case management, care coordination, employment development and social engagement activities.
