The Iris at San Ysidro offers 100 stunning apartment homes for residents earning at or below 60% of the area median income. Fifteen apartments are reserved as Permanent Supportive Housing for residents who have experienced homelessness. Fifty apartments include enhanced mobility access features and five include communications access features.

The four-story transit-oriented development offers a host of amenities, including the $5 million restoration of nearby Howard Lane Park, street safety and sidewalk improvements that benefit the entire neighborhood.

The Iris is located near a trolley station and bus lines, family health facilities, employment centers and less than a half mile from an elementary school. The development includes a community room, private offices for case management services, a courtyard play area for children and outdoor seating and gathering areas.

To help our residents end their cycle of homelessness, tools and resources are provided by high-quality services from the Hope through Housing Foundation, County of San Diego Health and Human Services, Father Joe’s Villages, CASA Familiar, San Ysidro Health Services, and San Diego PACE, and Imperial Beach Community Clinic. Case management and care coordination, including mental, physical, and behavioral health services, employment development, and social connectedness are among the primary services provided for our residents.
