Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. – National CORE presents the 10 Days of Delivering Hope, a campaign to build family and senior resilience, benefitting the Hope through Housing Foundation. Money raised from the campaign will support Hope through Housing’s four initiatives, including its COVID-19 Emergency Response and Resilience Fund.
“In a year that has put so many at-risk, National CORE and Hope through Housing have stepped in to make sure that thousands of families and seniors have enough food, necessary essential items, and a strong support system during the pandemic,” commented Hope through Housing President Greg Bradbard.
The Campaign will culminate with an online celebration, in lieu of National CORE’s An Evening of Hope Gala, on Thursday, November 12 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with many of the same traditional elements, such as entertainment, silent auction, presentation of awards, and a community coming together to make a difference. To date, Hope through Housing has raised more than $540,000 in sponsorships, individual donors, and in-kind donations.
“We have worked hard to create an experience that engages our audience, telling our story through daily video spotlights, highlighting our mission, our partners, and the individuals who are on the frontlines offering a helping hand and giving hope to those most vulnerable in our communities,” said National CORE President and CEO Steve PonTell.
During the broadcast, National CORE will be featuring a performance by last year’s CORE’s Got Talent Finalist, Giselle Puente-Rivera, a talented 13-year-old, from the City of Montclair. Near the end of the program, National CORE and Hope through Housing will be presenting awards to this year’s honorees, SoCalGas, Bank of America, Hillside Community Church, Harry Williams, and Tom Kulinski.
Hope through Housing is hoping to raise an additional $50,000 during its 10 Days of Delivering Hope Campaign. “No time in our history has the money been more important than this year. There are so many families and seniors affected. It is the Hope through Housing team that is out there trying to fill gaps that other organizations just cannot do,” said Chairman of the Board Jeff Burum. “So, if there was ever a year where we needed your support to help Hope through Housing provide much-needed programs and services, it is this year.”
