From the very beginning of the pandemic, National CORE — with the Hope through Housing Foundation — has stepped in to make sure that our families and seniors remain safe during this challenging time. To date, we have delivered more than 51,000 meals and bags of groceries and have conducted more than 10,000 wellness checks!

Each week we are delivering fresh produce, hot lunches, canned goods, and groceries to our families and seniors in partnership with community organizations. We continue to make wellness calls to seniors and vulnerable residents.

Our Pathways to Economic Empowerment team has been providing one-on-one financial counseling via phone to any resident struggling financially.  Additionally, we launched a webinar series on several relevant topics, such as “How to Survive and Keep Centered in an Uncertain Time”. Webinars are available at www.HTHF.org/learn.

We are grateful to the many donors and partners who have helped to make this work possible.  This year’s an Evening of Hope event will highlight the incredible stories of our Everyday Heroes! More details to come!

As one of our Fontana residents recently shared, “Thank you so much for being there for us.  Sometimes we older people get forgotten.” Thank you for making a difference for our children, families, and seniors!
