Summer Terrace Senior Apartment Homes adjacent to the Palmdale Regional Medical Center (currently under construction) and will improve the quality of life for low-income seniors by providing homes next to vital health services.

WHAT: Journalists are invited to the grand opening of Summer Terrace, an affordable community for seniors located adjacent to the Palmdale Regional Medical Center which is slated to open next year. The 80-unit complex of one and two-bedroom apartments is the product of a public-private partnership between the Rancho Cucamonga-based National CORE (National CORE) and the Palmdale Redevelopment Agency.
The $15.6 million project at 38530 Tierra Subida Avenue offers residents age 55 or more one and two-bedroom apartments with rents ranging between $380–$985. Amenities include a community room with service kitchen; fitness center; controlled access gates; laundry facilities; reception/lounge area; and computer lab. National CORE, through its Hope Through Housing affiliate, will provide an array of senior wellness programs at Summer Terrace.
