HavenCORE, National CORE’s property management division, is expanding into Northern California through a new partnership with the Housing Authority of the County of Alameda (HACA), the latest milestone in the organization’s growing role as a trusted property management partner for affordable housing providers across California.
Following a competitive proposal and interview process with multiple nationally recognized property management firms, HavenCORE was selected to manage more than 300 apartment homes – representing half of HACA’s affordable housing portfolio.
The partnership makes HACA the fourth housing authority to partner with HavenCORE, reflecting the team’s expertise in navigating the complexities of affordable and supportive housing programs.
With the addition of HACA’s portfolio, HavenCORE now manages more than 15,000 apartment homes at over 200 properties throughout the United States, including nearly 10,000 developed by National CORE.

HavenCORE also provides property management services for the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles, the Palm Desert Housing Authority and the City of Rancho Mirage Housing Authority.
Just over a year after expanding its focus on third-party property management, HavenCORE has experienced rapid growth as housing authorities and affordable housing owners increasingly seek experienced partners to manage complex affordable housing portfolios. The team’s success is built on operational excellence, regulatory expertise, resident-centered management and the use of analytics and artificial intelligence to improve efficiency and strengthen day-to-day operations.
HavenCORE is slated to start managing the HACA communities in September.
