National CORE is proud to announce that construction has begun on our first for-sale single-family home community
National CORE is proud to announce its very first for-sale affordable and market-rate single-family home community in Riverside, CA. Collett Crossings, when completed, will provide 34 stunning single-family homes in the beautiful La Sierra Neighborhood. Seven of the homes will be made available to families with household incomes qualifying maximums at 80 percent of the area median income.
“It is our goal to be a launching pad, not a landing pad for our families,” said President and CEO Steve PonTell. “Collett Crossings will allow us to help our families on their path to financial independence and homeownership.”
The new development will include four one-story three-bedroom homes, eight two-story three-bedroom homes, 13 two-story four-bedroom homes, and nine two-story four or five-bedroom homes (includes an optional loft).
To help families overcome barriers to homeownership, National CORE has partnered with NPHS, a local nonprofit that has specialized in the ownership side of affordable housing for more than 30 years, providing mortgages, down payment assistance, and first-time homebuyer training. NPHS also will assist with buyer qualification and the sale by a lottery of the seven affordable single-family homes.
