As HavenCORE, National CORE’s property management division, prepares for a hiring event on Aug. 26 in Los Angeles, the organization is celebrating the success of a recent job fair held at the Encanto Village affordable housing community in San Diego.
More than 70 job seekers attended the San Diego event, connecting with a dozen employers, including National CORE, San Ysidro Health, San Diego Workforce Partnership and Pirate Staffing. Candidates queued to connect with National CORE recruiters – including one hired already as a maintenance technician.
Building on that momentum, HavenCORE will host a hiring event from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, at The Parkline, 1457 N. Main St., Los Angeles.
The event will focus on recruiting maintenance technicians, assistant managers and property managers for posts in the Los Angeles area. Salaries will range from $18 – $30+ an hour. Some positions include free housing.
HavenCORE manages more than 15,000 apartment homes at over 200 properties throughout the United States, including about 10,000 developed by National CORE.
Attendees should bring copies of their resume and supporting documentation to be considered for a position.
