Coast Villas, a new affordable housing community co‑developed by National CORE and the San Diego Community Housing Corporation (SDCHC), will serve Oceanside seniors in need, including veterans and individuals with mental health needs.

National CORE and SDCHC joined elected officials and community partners on May 12 to break ground on the development, located within walking distance of the historic Oceanside Municipal Pier and Buccaneer Beach.

“Coast Villas will be a transformative community for Oceanside – providing much-needed affordable housing options for the city’s aging population,” National CORE Vice President John Seymour said. “It’s inspiring to once again partner with the City of Oceanside and SDCHC. We couldn’t ask for better partners while working on a development of such profound importance.”
