This Earth Day, National CORE is proud to celebrate another year of sustainability and caring for our planet through environmentally sensitive construction design.

In 2025, we reduced CO2 emissions by a whopping 393,326 lbs. –  even as we opened five new communities.  That’s the annual CO2 absorbed by 115,733 trees.

The reduction was made possible by our COREvolution team, which is diligently retrofitting dozens of our older communities with solar panels and switching fuel sources while designing new, all electric communities that are hyper energy-efficient.

The team expertly navigates the challenge of creating durable multi-family communities that reduce long-term operating costs for National CORE, minimize utility costs for residents and generate less impact on our scarce resources.

By the Numbers:

By decreasing our carbon emissions by 393,326 lbs., we have rid the planet of the following levels of waste:

  • 14,423,846 smartphones charged
  • 454,331 miles driven by the average gasoline-powered passenger vehicle
  • 20,075 gallons of gasoline consumed
  • 17,523 gallons of diesel consumed
  • 63 tons of waste recycled instead of landfilled
  • 41 gasoline-powered passenger vehicles driven for one year
  • 2 homes worth of electricity for one year
  • 1 acres of U.S. forests preserved from being converted into to cropland in one year

Happy Earth Day!
